My wife, Jane, and I have recently returned from a four day trek to Machu Picchu in Peru.  It was our first experience of this type of adventure and we were very much in Eva’s hands for the majority of the time.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and this was due in the main to Eva’s organisational skills that made the trip as worry free as it was possible to be.  She administered the trip in a very professional way ensuring that transport, tickets, restaurants etc were all booked and available as required.

 

Eva is a very calm and confident person and has the ability to motivate and support a group (30 trekkers in our case) of relatively inexperienced people in a positive and enthusiastic way.  She has a wonderful sense of humour and was able to resolve any problems that occurred in a friendly and assured manner.

What an amazing adventure from start to finish! Words cannot express the thanks our group of 30 owe to Eva Kawalfi for making the trek such a resounding success, from the initial planning stages to culminating in the magic of Machu Picchu.  

For me, this was my first bucket list adventure following retirement and there were times when the weather, altitude and being totally thrown out of my comfort zone made me feel I wouldn't achieve the ultimate goal, but Eva was always there with words of encouragement and support.  I have never before met anyone with such energy, enthusiasm and the ability to remain cool and calm in any situation and I would (and did) trust Eva with my life.  Such a natural when it comes to organisational skills - can't wait for Eva to lead me into the next big adventure... 😃

Well, we are getting used to being home again, but we had a fantastic
time, thank you once again for all your hard work, you certainly had the
knack of handling most situations confidently and with your lovely smile
which puts people at ease, it was also very obvious that the local guides
etc had a high regard for you, which is always a bonus.

Eva was just fantastic, as it was my first trek and I wasn’t sure what to expect she made everything clear and less worrying! She was very supportive and felt more like a friend than the tour leader very quickly. She has a great personality for her job and was motivating and funny as well as sensitive to anyone who may have been struggling or feeling sore, worried or overwhelmed.

I was fortunate to trek with Eva as our qualified guide in October 2014  when our group of 30 trekked the Salkantay route to Machu Picchu.
 
Her total professional, enthusiastic & caring approach in her role was magnificent. Her concern & attention to detail for us all was way above & beyond what many other guides normally offer. Nothing was too much trouble or effort for her & this warm & positive attitude made the trek so much more enjoyable. She is Spanish by birth & therefore her command of her native language makes her ideally suited to the Machu Picchu trek or any other Spanish speaking location.
 
I would strongly recommend her to anyone thinking of doing the fantastic trek to Machu Picchu & indeed any other location that she might make in the future.

Eva ha encontrado un pequeño rincón de la geografía catalana donde se combinan a la perfección los paseos por el mar y la montaña, una rica gastronomía con ingredientes de alta calidad y un clima muy favorable. ¡Y además a tiro de piedra de Barcelona!
